The contents of this project include survey of arsenic-rich farmland and groundwater, establish arsenic distribution map, soil and groundwater quality monitoring according to law, repair and maintain monitoring wells, pollution sites supervise and management, counseling of gas station operators, and verification of illegal disposal and report cases. In this project, accomplish 25 farmland blocks monitor and survey. The results show the most serious problem is arsenic exceeding the control standards. Complete 400 drain wells and 120 farmland soils survey, the results shows some townships, arsenic is higher than averages in groundwater and accumulation in soil by irrigation. The arsenic distribution map is reorganizate the data from EPA and EPB, calculating with the method of Indicator Kriging. The common problem with groundwater is iron, manganese and ammonium exceeding. In addition, the results of continuous monitor the pollution of Cl-containing organic compounds in groundwater in Zhongyang industrial park indicate the concentration increases and proliferation with potential. Statistics to the end of 2017, the counseling and survey of gas stations in Chia-Yi County is finished, the declare rate in underground storage tank declaration center reachs 100%. The inspects of pollution sites monthly are all carry out and upload the tables to SGM system, verification the pollution control sites Pai-Qi company, Xie-Tong gas station and Hui-Sheng gas station and make suggestions.
